Bi-directional Writing or Mirrored or Something Amazing
Hattie wrote this invitation to her cousin February of this year. It reads,
"Jackson please come to my house in 2 days Hattie"
Awww, adorable. Not only is this piece of writing heartwarming, it's mind blowing! If I asked Hattie today to write a sentence in this fashion, I don't think she could do it. I could hardly do it. She alternated each line between standard left-to-right and mirrored writing. And she did it without trouble. I remember. I was there telling her how to spell the words. I'm trying to imagine a mind that will mirror its imagery, apparently, on command. It must be a product of a growing mind trying to grasp the complexities of the written language.
Oh, and I made this gif which was fun.
